Porter Cyr is a worshiper, songwriter, musician, worship leader/pastor, and speaker residing in West Palm Beach, FL. He has had a heart for the Lord since being saved at 4 years old and baptized in the Holy Spirit at 5 years old. As Porter says, "My testimony is that I didn't have to have a 'testimony' of living in the world in order to hit rock bottom to become saved. Experiencing God and His love was all it took for me!”
It is Porter's desire to see the power and message of the kingdom of God transform lives through song and to see a global move of God. He also has a heart to teach, equip, and raise up worship leaders to release the sound of the kingdom of God in the earth. This is evident in all of his projects, in services where you may witness him leading praise and worship, and in his lifestyle outside of the ministry setting. He loves seeing people from all walks of life not only discover that their purpose extends beyond existence and into dominion, but also to experience it alongside them.
Mentored by world renown worship leaders, Porter is known stylistically for his diversity among various genres of praise & worship music which brings different races and generations together to worship the King. He doesn't try to emulate one particular artist/band. As he says, "I am not the next so and so; I'm the first and only Porter Cyr." Porter is currently serving as the Worship Pastor at Faith Coast Church (West Palm Beach, FL) under Pastors Whitney & Jennifer Shipman.
